I feel like I’ve grown quite a bit taller
when I stand next to objects and such
my mum seems more shorter than me now than previously and even she thinks I’ve grown quite a bit
my brother seems way less tall now and I’m nearing his height, and he’s 5”10, and he also agrees I have grown taller
but the tape measure says I haven’t grown AT ALL

There’s something I’m curious about with Japanese that maybe someone can answer, idk I I’ll try.
When people pronounce the ‘su’ at the end of the polite verb form, does it have a more formal or feminine sounding effect (if any)? I’ve heard women use it, who talk very politely and properly and use the ‘wa’ ending particle a lot, but I’m not sure about men. Anyone know?
